Unrehearsed MacBeth rides again!

THE BETH IS BACK! The Unrehearsed Shakespeare Company is closing its prolific 2013 season with the show that started it all. MacBeth (or “The Scottish Play,” as it’s called by pretentious tools) was first performed in the Unrehearsed style in December of 2009, then reprised for the Region 5 KCACTF festival in January of 2010. Rather than the usual spooky fair, the Audience made it an intense, action-packed extravaganza, and both productions ended with crowds shouting in elation as MacDuff delivered his final blow.

Will 2013’s MacBeth be the same? It’s coming your way November 12th and 19th, still well enough after the Halloween fiddle-faddle. Will debut-director Danny Pancratz (who played the title role in both prior productions) bring a new performance out of the major players? Will Chicago Audiences create a dark ambiance? How will the Scottish forces react to the cramped spaces of Chicago venues? Only one way to find out!

MacBeth!
November 12th & 19th!
